I’ve spent my evening drafting up some love letters to leave for strangers. I fell in love with the idea when I read about it on another blog I was browsing. The idea is to leave inspirational “love” letters in random places for people to find while they are going about their day. Sometimes it’s nice to know that “someone” cares, even if they are anonymous. 🙂

I’ve had this idea rattling around in my brain for nearly two days now and I finally sat down and got it all out on paper–or rather screen–today. Is it possible that I will be taking on ANOTHER writing endeavor? This one seems to just be flowing out of my fingertips though. I’ve nearly finished the entire short story that this novel will be based on and i feel that it will be relatively easy to expand upon.
Here’s to hoping for a finish work in the near future!
This year has been filled with so many ups and downs so far that I don’t know if I could take it if it continued in the same fashion. I started the year living with my parents. My father has been in and out of the hospital on countless occasions and its been pretty trying. But nothing compares to when we found out that my brother was a drug addict. It was a big motivating factor for me to move.
I was very fortunate to have a bestie who opened his doors to me and even moved to a bigger apartment for me. He’s been a bog savior to me this year and I don’t know what I would have done without him.
For now, I am partially content with life. Life on the home front is looking good, but my current job just isn’t cutting it any more. I’m currently in search of a new and better job, and I’m hoping that it comes along soon.
Things look good though, so I can’t complain too much. I’m working on my first collaborative novel, my first solo novel and I am helping to edit and author a short story that will soon be published.
Life moves on.

The Roomie and I have decided on authoring a collaborative series of novels. We have started with the framework, complete with mapping out what we want for a total of three novels for the series. And we have gotten as far as writing a rough draft of the first five or so chapters. The problem is, things have gone stagnant. I feel like we are stuck right now. He has been working on his own writing–which is about ready for publishing–and I have been working on a side novel. How do we get the spark back that we had when we started writing?
